Women parliamentarian elected on reserve seats have expressed indignation over the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan's remarks regarding the allocation of special seats to women. While criticising the remarks, Anusha Rehman of PML-N said that Imran Khan remained member of the parliament for five-year, but what role he played during that period for resolution of the problems of his constituency.

PPP leader Shehnaz Wazir Ali condemned Imran Khan's statement and said that special seats were allocated for the women in all the parliaments. ANP leader Jameela Gilani said that Khan was denying existence of half of the population of the country. PML-N member Anosha Rehman challenged educational ability of the former cricketer, adding that law minister and other parliamentarian should take notice of Khan's statement.
